My mother had surgery. Tests turned out okay and she is recouperating very well.

I spent many hours hanging out in this waiting room today.

My camera is slowly losing it. With nearly daily use for almost 3 years and dropping it with the lens open last weekend....it is dying. :(

We went out looking and testing cameras seeing what is available.

I don't think my little camera liked taking pictures of it's future replacement. lol

108 Drive In dinner

Went to the local burger joint for dinner.

107 Volunteer work

I spent the morning stuffing toiletries, sunscreen and water bottles in backpacks to hand out to homeless men and women who came to an outreach event at our church.

It was extremely well organized.

A free lunch was prepared for "guests" and volunteers

They had service providers fixing bicycles, cutting hair, foot baths, plus various service organizations to help people get housing and benefits they need to survive.

I am so thankful I had the time to give and help.

We found this nifty little clock radio, digital picture frame at Staples on clearance. It was originally $150 eep! We got if for $13!

Gotta love a great deal and rewards credits.

102 Happy Easter

We had a lovely Easter Sunday. We went to church and helped in the elementary school sunday school classes with the egg hunt. They had 195 children in k-4th grade yesterday! About 45 more than usually attend.

After lunch we headed to the C Lake Marina to take a nature cruise.

The rock formations in the canyon are beautiful.

I am released from the doctor.

I have hope that this is the final procedure and will not go back.

Now for it to heal so I can get a pedicure soon!
