Wow..it's the end

I made it though another year.

Somewhere along the line...I got off count a bit.

I can't believe this is the end of my 2nd year of taking a picture a day. I have been contemplating whether I could continue on for 2009.

I think I will try...I have a list of photo prompts this time and maybe if I get stuck with the girls in school and such I will refer to the list and get a jumpstart on my mojo so to speak.

So all that to say...I'm here again for 2009. I am excited to see where this year will take me and my family.

Lone big horn sheep on the butte

They are the same size as an emperor penguin.
We got 3 copies of a book this Christmas called the Little Penguin.
It is all about an baby Emperor Penguin.


Very cool experience...petting stingrays.

On the look out for another stingray to pet.

They were really brave and petted quiet a few.

I did too. lol

This is the 2nd year we have gone to the zoo on New Year's Eve. Our weather has been awesome and it was a gorgeous day.

We even met up with a family friend and her daughter.

Fresh haircuts and a treat while I finished my grocery shopping.

We got the girls a trampoline for Christmas today with some funds Grandpa A gave us.

We do have the enclosure...they were so anxious to jump that we let them get on before it was set up entirely. lol

The girls got to wear their PJ's to church today.

We stood in line for 3 hours.

Yes, we are crazy! We did eventually ride the train.

After lunch we wandered around AZ Centre and fed the pigeons.

We rode the bus home and then headed to DQ for hot fudge sundaes.

Yes...this was our dinner tonight! lol

Today we ran a ton of errands...of course.

The girls were very patient and great sports...

so we treated them to a movie.

They worked on these at school today with one of the sixth grade classes.
Now each of them will have a reading buddy for the remainder of the school year.

We had a lovely evening with a chocolate fountain and tons of food to dip in it.

The club provided massage therapists, facials, toe readers to pamper our member. It was such a fun night visiting and getting a lovely massage!

They totally enjoyed looking at every ornament and putting them on the tree. I helped with my special ones...putting them higher. The girls did a great job this year!

337 Art Walk

The daisy troop went on an art walk in a local town tonight.

One of the stores had free snowflack ornaments they could paint.

They each painted one and then we went and got hot chocolate.
