148 Summer Reading Program

The girls signed up for a reading program today. They get credit for me reading to them. If they read a total of 36 books this summer they will get a free book in July.
They took 6 books out each day.

142 Unexpected renovation

Long story short...my mom has generously given us a new cabinet and granite counter top for our guest bathroom.
Dh ripped out our old sink and cabinet last night and is repairing the walls and installing the new one tonight. The countertop guy is coming tomorrow afternoon. Needless to say it has been a bit hectic around here.

We are not having good luck finding suits to fit this year.

This is round 2. The one pieces were big and were rubbing them raw.

They must be between sizes this year...I hope these work :)

137 Girls night out

Had a fun and eventful night out with some friends.

We decided to try Ethiopian food and picked a restaurant none of had been to before. It was in a divey part of town and between a bar and motel! We decided to pass and went out to Mexican food instead.

The food and conversation were fun.

Miss A got her bangs trimmed by daddy today. I supervised very closely. The girls want to grow their hair out. Hopefully, I will get Miss C's done soon. She was grumpy this afternoon.
